As part of my commitment to direct democracy, I asked you which kinds of merchandise you wanted me to produce. Coming in second place were socks. My team and I tried our best to respect the popular will. We designed mismatched "sad socks" with crying clouds. We even had "sock socks," socks with socks on them!
But then our online shop's sock machine in Portugal broke down. By the time we found another fair and organic sock producer, we had reached our deadline, the samples didn't match our expectations, and production costs had blown up.
So we did what you all would have done:
We gave up.
